NEWS FROM NASFAA

NASFAA today published its newly updated National Student Aid Profile: Overview of 2024 Federal Programs. As congressional appropriators deliberate on funding levels for critical federal student aid programs that serve as a financial lifeline for low-income students, the 2024 National Profile is a timely resource that NASFAA members can rely on to advocate for federal student aid funding. The document details the six prominent federal financial aid programs, outlines recent trends in federal appropriations for the Title IV programs, and provides updated data on the number of recipients, total volume of awards, and average aid amount for each program. Read the 2024 National Student Aid Profile, and remember to contact your representatives to share how cuts to these programs could impact your students.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Yes, but the data you can share differs between the student and any other contributor on the FAFSA.
