In a letter to NASFAA members, the National Chairs share more about the leadership transition plan as NASFAA President Justin Draeger departs following the National Conference, and the search for NASFAA’s next President & CEO. This is the second in a regular series of transparent updates to NASFAA members on the transition and search process. Education Secretary Miguel Cardona on Thursday sent a letter to staff members outlining steps the Department of Education (ED) will take to modernize and improve the Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA) amid "ongoing management and operational challenges."

NASFAA is seeking a highly motivated, self-starter to join its team as a Communications and Engagement Assistant. This position is responsible for providing operational and project support to NASFAA’s communications team, including drafting and loading content for our daily newsletter, promoting engagement and providing support in NASFAA’s member community, providing website management support, and drafting content for social media. Learn more about this remote position or share it with a colleague or recent college graduate. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with a target start date of mid- to late-July.
