August is crunch time for financial aid offices across the country, and this year has been one filled with significant challenges for the profession. NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

This AskRegs Knowledgebase Q&A was updated to reflect changes to the tax return line items discussed in the updated June 17, 2024 Electronic Announcement (GENERAL-24-71) and the April 1, 2024 Electronic Announcement (GENERAL-24-29). NASFAA has confirmed with the U.S. Department of Education (ED) that schools should be using the updated tax return line items for verification and conflicting information.
