NEWS FROM NASFAA

In a letter to NASFAA members, the National Chairs share the progress of the search for a new NASFAA President and CEO. The Board of Directors has been diligently working to ensure a smooth transition and to find the best possible leader for NASFAA. This is the third in a regular series of transparent updates to NASFAA members on the transition and search process. We welcome you to share your comments and thoughts about the search process and NASFAA's next leader.

The rollout of the 2024-25 FAFSA has been riddled with technical issues, errors, and glitches, and has ultimately led to nearly 300,000 fewer high school seniors completing the financial aid application this year — most of which come from low-income, Black, and Latino communities, a new report from The Century Foundation found.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

NASFAA Office Closed Thursday for the Independence Day Federal Holiday

The NASFAA office will be closed on Thursday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day federal holiday. NASFAA's Today's News will not be sent and AskRegs and technical and membership support will not be available until the office reopens on Friday, July 5.
