NEWS FROM NASFAA

A federal appeals court on Monday ruled that a provision of the Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) repayment plan — which was recently halted by an injunction from a Kansas judge — can continue as planned while the appeals process moves its way through court.

NASFAA UPDATES AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

Blue Icon hosts monthly Let's Talk events to allow NASFAA Members to engage with peers, learn from each other, share information, and discuss best practices. Topics for the upcoming programming year include Financial Value Transparency and Gainful Employment reporting, data sharing, staff training plans, and more. View the schedule and register for an upcoming Let’s Talk session today.

Are you approved and ready to reserve the exam session you want? Think strategically. Which part of the day are you at your best? Where will you take your exam that you can arrange for at least two hours of interrupted time? Will you need your IT staff to authorize you to download the Guardian Browser before exam day? While you can schedule your session anytime during each testing window, including on weekends and holidays, outside of NASFAA’s business hours you’ll need to rely on the proctor for support. To help prevent problems and delays, review the technical requirements and test your system in advance. One final tip: double-check your booking time because the scheduler uses a 24-hour clock (military time). If we can help, contact us at [email protected]
