NEWS FROM NASFAA

Helen Faith

Meet Helen Faith, FAAC®, NASFAA's 2023-24 National Chair! As she begins her tenure, Helen took some time to discuss with Today's News her goals for the next year and what inspires her as a financial aid professional.

The process of implementing all of the changes outlined in the FAFSA Simplification Act has been tedious and challenging for the financial aid community. Although the road ahead will require a significant amount of work, we don't want to lose sight of the benefits that will also come from this effort. We would like to hear from you, the financial aid professionals on the ground doing this work, about what you are most looking forward to with FAFSA simplification. How will your job improve? What benefits will students and families see with the streamlined process? What impact might this have on college access and affordability more broadly? Share your thoughts with us by next Tuesday, August 8.
