NASFAA's HERA Implementation Resources page provides schools with a single source of essential information and tools for implementing the provisions of the Higher Education Reconciliation Act of 2005.

Please note that a number of ED policy decisions, guidance issues, and regulations related to HERA provisions were still evolving at the time these implementation tools were developed. While the materials posted here represent NASFAA's best understanding of ED's interpretations of the law, they are subject to change. Further, as more information is disseminated by ED, NASFAA may expand some of the materials to incorporate additional guidance or rules. We will make every effort to indicate where changes have been made if revised documents are posted.

While NASFAA materials are copyrighted, NASFAA members are permitted to reproduce and use these HERA materials on their campuses as necessary. However, they are benefits of membership and redistribution to nonmembers is prohibited.
