NSLP's November 18 Learning Links Provides Guidance on Exit Counseling & Thinking on Your Feet

Monthly webcasts cover topics especially selected for campus financial aid administrators.

November 9, 2009 -- NSLP's popular, free Learning Links webcast training session this month offers timely information about exit counseling for students who receive grants and loans. The second half of the two-hour webcast provides insights on how to boost your confidence during any type of Q & A session.

November 18 10 am to Noon Central, repeated 1 to 3 pm Central

Exit Counseling for TEACH Grants, Perkins and FFELP Loans
Colleges are required to provide exit counseling for students. Reaffirm the information you need to provide for students who receive TEACH Grants, Perkins Loans and FFELP loans. In addition, you'll learn tips for making this mandatory activity more engaging for students.

Thinking on Your Feet
It's one thing to properly prepare and deliver a presentation, it's another to answer questions about it with assurance. Learn techniques that accelerate your confidence and competence at any Q & A session, whether it's a department meeting, an industry conference, or a government hearing.
