Concord, NH - The NHHEAF Network Organizations' Center for College Planning (CCP) is
currently scheduling its second annual College Summer Series. This FREE program offers
students and parents the opportunity to learn about colleges from across New England
without ever leaving NH. The first visiting school, Colby-Sawyer College, will present on
June 29th at the NHHEAF Network Organizations' offices in Concord. "We are excited to
partner with NHHEAF on opportunities such as these to promote the importance of higher
education to students in New Hampshire," stated Tracey Perkins, Director of Admission
Counseling at Colby-Sawyer College.
During each of the sessions, an admissions representative from the college will give an
overview of what the college has to offer to interested students and parents. At the end
of each session, attendees will have the opportunity to ask college-related questions
about topics such as room and board, the application process, programs of study and
financial aid. All sessions are held at The NHHEAF Network Organizations' campus in
Concord, NH. Schools scheduled to visit include: Chester College of New England,
Colby-Sawyer College, Culinary Institute of America, Keene State College, Mount
Holyoke College, New England College, Southern NH University, Tufts University, University
of New England and Wheaton College. "The College Summer Series is a great
opportunity for students in the midst of the college search to get a closer look at the
wealth of higher education opportunities available," said Jay Hauser, program
coordinator and College Outreach Counselor for the CCP.
More colleges are being scheduled each week for the months of June, July and August.
