12 Million Loan Counseling Sessions Completed on Mapping Your Future®

Mapping Your Future counseled more than one million students within the past four months, providing important advice on managing student loans and personal finance.

With the additional one million counseling sessions, now more than 12 million students have received loan counseling through Mapping Your Future.

A student from Dodge City Community College in Kansas completed the 12 millionth session.

"Through the counseling sessions, students receive important information about their financial aid, advice on borrowing conservatively, and tips on managing their personal finances," said Cathy Mueller, executive director for Mapping Your Future. "Online Student Loan Counseling serves as an important default prevention tool for students and schools."
