Recent Additions Strengthen Support for School Partners in the Midwest
Madison, Wis. - Great Lakes Higher Education Corporation and Affiliates (Great Lakes) is pleased to welcome Becky Davis as Senior Marketing Associate for Eastern Ohio and Kevin Konen as Senior Marketing Associate for Michigan. The addition of Davis and Konen, with their extensive financial aid and student loan experience, will bolster support for our school partners in both states.
Becky Davis joins Great Lakes after several years as a marketing representative with College Loan Corporation and Wachovia. In that role, she was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with schools and focusing on both FFELP and private loans. Her financial aid career, which began at Ohio State University in 1990, also includes work at Otterbein College in the Office of Continuing Studies and Columbus State Community College as Assistant Director of Financial Aid.
Kevin Konen returns to Great Lakes after five years as a Relationship Manager with KeyBank. There, he worked primarily with schools in Michigan and throughout the Midwest. Prior to joining KeyBank, he was Director of Financial Aid for Davenport University in Lansing. Konen previously worked at Great Lakes, serving as a Borrower Contact Specialist and them moving into School Marketing in the 1990s. He has significant experience with the Michigan Student Financial Aid Association (MSFAA), having served on the Board of Directors and as a committee chair.
"We are pleased to increase our support for schools in Ohio and Michigan with the addition of Becky and Kevin to the Midwest team," said Mary Roggeman, Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Great Lakes. "Their commitment and experience will greatly benefit the schools they serve."
