On June 13, the Advisory Committee on Student Financial Assistance (ACSFA) held a roundtable discussion on the impact that recent economic downturns are having on college access. The ACSFA solicited testimony and discussion from several higher education experts, including NASFAA President & CEO Dr. Phil Day. These experts talked about the severity, scope, and duration of the current economic problems and the college access and persistence problems associated with them.
