NASFAA 2005 Fall Training Workshop Materials Available for Sale

If you were unable to attend NASFAA's Fall 2005 Training Series "Administrative Capability: Campus-Wide Compliance," you can now order the reference material distributed at the workshops. A limited supply of the materials is available.

Title IV compliance is not just the financial aid office's responsibility. It's a campus-wide requirement. Administrative capability is at the heart of the Title IV regulations, encompassing many of the measures of an institution's Title IV eligibility. Demonstrating administrative capability to participate in the Title IV programs involves virtually every office within an institution, making compliance a campus-wide commitment and responsibility. Effective cross-campus communication is, therefore, key to achieving compliance with the administrative capability regulations.

NASFAA's 2005 Fall Training materials present compliance in the context of a campus-wide effort. They focus on developing strategies to ensure and strengthen the cross-campus communication necessary to demonstrate Title IV administrative capability.

The materials:

  1. Identify the rules and regulations associated with administrative capability and the possible pitfalls and common compliance issues identified by audits, program reviews, and NASFAA's Standards of Excellence Peer Review Program.

  2. Identify offices impacted by the rules and regulations to assess who has responsibility for various components of administrative capability and determine how to win the attention and cooperation of those offices.

  3. Present ideas on how to achieve the necessary cross-campus communication to ensure compliance.

  4. Provide tools and strategies for achieving compliance with administrative capability requirements.
The materials contain practical, informative handouts and reference materials, including charts, PowerPoint slides, and a PowerPoint presentation.

Cost

The price for a set of materials is $70 for NASFAA Members and $140 for nonmembers.
