2002 NASFAA Fall Training

Fall Training Workshop Materials Available for Sale

If you were unable to attend NASFAA's Fall 2002 Training series – Treatment of Resources and Packaging Considerations, you can now order the reference material distributed at the sessions. A limited supply of the materials is available.

NASFAA's Fall 2002 Workshop Series examined the challenges institutions face when awarding and disbursing non-Title IV and Title IV resources. The training materials help financial aid administrators answer many of the questions surrounding the administration of student financial aid funds. This workshop was intended to:

  • Clarify the usage of statutory, regulatory, and IRS terminology when identifying different resources;
  • Examine operational strategies when packaging non-Title IV resources;
  • Identify compliance issues when packaging non-Title IV and Title IV resources;
  • Discuss strategies for resolving potential overawards; and
  • Discuss communication between the financial aid office and academic departments and the business office.

Cost

The price for a set of the materials is $50 for members and $100 for non-members.
