The 1996 Survey of Undergraduate Financial Aid Policies, Practices, and Procedures (SUFAPPP), a collaboration between NASFAA and The College Board, provides information on the financial aid policies and practices used by aid administrators to award financial assistance to undergraduates during the 1994-95 academic year. Topics covered by the 1996 SUFAPPP include: number of students who received grant, loan, and work-study awards; use of need- and non-need-based institutional grants; financial aid application processing procedures; and use of need analysis and professional judgment. Whenever possible, the results of the SUFAPPP are compared with financial aid data collected by The College Board and the National Center for Education Statistics.
