Visitor Information Center: Major Colleges and Universities: Getting Around San Antonio Top Attractions THINGS TO DO Fiesta
Noche Del Rio : the longest running show of its kind in
the U.S. - will celebrate its 52nd season this year. The musical
extravaganza features the songs and dances of Mexico, Spain, Argentina
and Texas in a seven-act showstopping performance. Held at the
historic Arneson River Theatre on the River Walk, the outdoor
show has entertained more than a million locals and visitors since
its inception. Fiesta Noche del Rio is sponsored by the Alamo
Kiwanis Club. The non-profit organization has a long-term mission
of raising funds to provide support for children's charities.
All proceeds from these performances benefit Respite Care of San
Antonio and Any Baby Can. River Boat Rides: San Antonio Cruises is the boat ride
company that offers tours on a boat. You can purchase tickets
for the tour at the these locations on the river: Rivercenter
Mall, across from the Hilton Hotel. All inquiries should be directed

www.riosanantonio.com The fares of the boat rides are listed below: River Taxi's: There is a shuttle on the river. It is operated
by the same company that does the boat rides but without the tour.
Rio Taxi is available 7 days a week from (9:00 am to 9:00 pm).
Tickets are available at locations and various hotels on the River
Walk - ask your front desk.Rio Taxi ticket can be purchased right
on board from the driver Rio Taxi (Rio Trans) tickets are $4.00
one way, 24 hour pass $10.00 and 3 day pass $25.00. River Walk Dining Experience: Enjoy all that San Antonio has to offer while dining at one of our specialty restaurants. Casa Rio Mexican Restaurant: The first restaurant to open its doors on the river walk (1946) specialize in Tex-Mex, (ask for Missy). Come visit any of our restaurants close to our downtown area

such as La Tuna Grill, Azuca and Bluestar Brewery. La Tuna Grill - Plates are true to Texas size so make sure to share if you want something on the lite side. Azuca Nuevo Latino Restaurant - Located right off Alamo St. this artsy restaurant has all the charm of a true Latin experience, with live music, quenching beverages, and delicious appetizers. Blue Star Brewing Co. - Live it up a little and visit our famous brewery and while your there grab a bite to eat from their hearty menu. Market Square: One of San Antonio's ultimate attractions, this location is combined with shopping, arts, eats, and entertainment. |
